Fees

Intake Session: $250

The intake session will involve a full assessment. The goal of this session is for me to learn about you and the goals that you have for counseling. We will work collaboratively together to determine where you would like to focus.

Individual Session: $180+ depending on modality (55 minutes)

Within each successive session, we will work towards the counseling goals set in the intake session, check in on progress, and adjust the treatment plan for your goals and needs.

*Cash, check, and major credit cards are accepted. Payment is due at time of session*

In the event that a reduced fee may need to be considered, please discuss with me. If a mutual agreement can be reached, reduced fees will considered on a case by case basis.

Cancellation Policy

If you do not show up for your scheduled counseling session, and, do not give 24 hours notice by text, phone, or email, you will be required to pay the full amount for your session.

Confidentiality and Privacy

Information shared in counseling sessions will remain confidential as outlined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). As a counselor, I am required to break confidentiality for the following reasons as outlined by the OBLPCT: reporting suspected child abuse, reporting imminent danger to the client or others, reporting information required in court proceedings or by client’s insurance company or other relevant agencies, providing information concerning licensee case consultation or supervision, and defending claims brought by the client against licensee.

Because parents play a key role in their child’s life, there may be times in which information will need to be shared. However, in order to develop a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship, confidentiality will be maintained whenever possible. Parents, please understand there will be information shared with me that cannot be shared back to you. The issue of confidentiality will be discussed more in detail at the intake session to ensure that all family members feel comfortable and confident moving ahead with counseling.

I currently use Alma for consent documents and insurance billing. Once a client is ready for counseling services, an email link will go to them to sign consent documents in the following areas:

  • Email/Text Consent
    • consent to receive text or emails around appointment reminders or to reply to requests for information
    • clients will enter their mobile numbers into Alma's EHR (electronic health record) to access their account, along with their password
  • Informed Consent for Assessment and Treatment
